Pimpri's Trusted Press Tool Maker

A legacy of precision tooling and stamping die manufacture since 2002.

Established in 2002, Precision Industries is an ISO 9001:2015 certified press tool manufacturing company at A-46, H Block, MIDC Industrial Area, Pimpri, Pune – 411018. Our tool room runs Wire Cut EDM (Electronica, Sodick, Mitsubishi), Haas VMC machining centres, surface grinders and milling machines — enabling complete in-house manufacture from raw tool steel to finished, trial-proven dies.

We are a trusted supplier in Tier-1 automotive and industrial supply chains, manufacturing high-precision progressive tooling and stamping dies that eventually serve global OEMs like BMW, Hyundai, and other leading brands. Our Pimpri location places us at the centre of India's densest automotive cluster — within 20 km of Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, Force Motors and hundreds of their Tier-1 and Tier-2 vendors — meaning faster trials, quicker modifications and lower logistics cost for clients across Pimpri-Chinchwad, Bhosari, Chakan and greater Pune.

Press Tools We Manufacture

Designed on CAD/CAM, machined on Wire EDM and VMC, hardened to HRC 58–62 — all in our Pimpri MIDC tool room.

Progressive Press Tools

Multi-station progressive dies (2 to 24 stations) for high-volume stamped components. Strip layout simulated at design stage; profiles finished on Wire Cut EDM to ±0.005 mm.

Typical parts: brackets, terminals, contacts, clips, connectors, laminations

Compound Dies

Single-stroke dies that blank and pierce simultaneously — best where hole-to-profile positional accuracy is critical at medium to high volumes.

Typical parts: washers, flat brackets, gasket plates, mounting plates

Blanking & Piercing Tools

Heavy-duty blanking dies and precision piercing punch-die sets for ferrous and non-ferrous sheet from 0.3 mm to 6 mm thickness.

Materials: MS, CRCA, SS, GI, aluminium, brass, copper

Bending & Forming Dies

V-bending, U-bending, channel and 3D forming dies with calculated relief angles and springback compensation for consistent bend geometry.

Typical parts: channels, angles, clamps, formed brackets

Deep Drawing Dies

Draw and redraw dies for cup, shell and enclosure-type components. Draw radii and blankholder forces validated before manufacture.

Typical parts: housings, cups, enclosures, shells, caps

Fine Blanking & Notching Tools

Fine blanking tooling for burr-free blanks with perpendicular cut edges; notching and corner-cutting dies for frames and bushings.

Sectors: defence, electronics, precision engineering

Combination & Special-Purpose Dies

Custom dies combining blank, pierce, bend and emboss operations in one stroke or a compact progressive sequence — cuts tooling cost and press cycles.

Approach: design shared for approval before any steel is cut

Jigs, Fixtures, Gauges & Spares

Guide pillars, bushes, die sets, check gauges, profile gauges and welding fixtures. Punch and die spares for existing tools — including legacy tooling from other vendors.

Service: reverse engineering of legacy tooling available

Frequently Asked Questions

Press tools, lead times, materials and enquiries — answered.

Where exactly is Precision Industries located in Pimpri?

At A-46, H Block, MIDC Industrial Area, Pimpri, Pune – 411018, Maharashtra — inside the Pimpri-Chinchwad MIDC, well connected via the Pune–Mumbai Highway and Nashik Phata interchange. Email us before visiting and we will share directions.

What types of press tools do you manufacture?

Progressive press tools, compound dies, blanking tools, piercing tools, forming and bending dies, deep drawing dies, fine blanking tooling, notching dies, combination dies, and accessories such as guide pillars, bushes, die sets and check gauges.

What materials do you use?

D2 (most common for dies), D3, H11, M2 HSS (punches) and EN31, with die plates and holders in EN8/EN19. All materials come with mill test certificates. Punches and dies are hardened to HRC 58–62.

What is your typical lead time?

3 to 10 weeks depending on complexity. A simple blanking or piercing tool takes 3–4 weeks; a multi-station progressive die for automotive parts typically takes 7–10 weeks from drawing approval. Fast-track delivery can be discussed for urgent requirements.

Do you supply press tools to Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) MIDC companies?

Yes — we regularly supply progressive tools and compound dies to clients in Waluj MIDC and Shendra MIDC, Sambhajinagar, with transit-safe packaging and try-out support for larger tooling projects.

Can you reverse-engineer an existing press tool?

Yes. If you have a worn or damaged die without drawings, we can measure the component or available tool sections, recreate CAD drawings and manufacture a replacement — useful for legacy tooling from discontinued vendors.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No. Each press tool is a custom-engineered product; we manufacture single tools as well as multi-tool programmes with programme pricing.

How do I send an enquiry?

Email your component drawing (PDF or DXF/DWG), material specification and monthly volume to precisionindustriesproject@gmail.com along with your company name and contact number. We reply with a techno-commercial offer within 48–72 business hours.
