Designing progressive dies and stamping tools for switchgear, electronics, and medical device manufacturing plants in the Pirangut and Hinjewadi industrial corridors.
Sub-micron accuracy toolroom supporting switchgear and electronic assemblies.
The Pirangut and Hinjewadi industrial corridors host specialized electronics, telecom, switchgear, and medical equipment manufacturers. Stamping tools for these sectors require extreme dimensional accuracy and sub-micron tool clearances to produce burr-free contact components.
At **Precision Industries**, we specialize in the design and fabrication of high-speed **progressive stamping tools, terminal dies, and micro-tooling components**. Sourced from premium imported tool steels and hardened in vacuum furnaces to HRC 58-62, our dies are manufactured in our ISO 9001:2015 certified Pimpri toolroom, which is located just 30 km (approx. 50 minutes) from Pirangut.
By leveraging Sodick, Mitsubishi, and Electronica wire-cut EDMs, we hold precise tolerances down to **±0.003 mm**. This ensures clean, uniform shear edges for copper, brass, and spring-steel terminal parts, eliminating operational assembly rejects.
Bespoke progressive and compound dies engineered to run reliably on high-stroke presses.
Multi-stage progressive dies optimized for high-speed terminal stamping, featuring built-in strip pilots, auto-feeding clearance, and carbide punch inserts.
Applications: Electrical terminals, connectors, switch pins, micro-clips
Super-fine clearance stamping dies designed to punch thin-foil sheets down to 0.1 mm thickness without material distortion.
Materials: Brass, phosphor bronze, copper, spring steel
Designed for flat, high-tolerance blanked rings and plates where inner hole to outer edge concentricity is critical.
Applications: Copper shims, medical washers, contact rings
We supply replacement guide pillars, bushes, die plates, and spare punches for existing press tools operating in the Pirangut belt.
Sectors: Electronics, medical device manufacturers

Answers to common questions from our Pirangut MIDC clients.
We manufacture micro-stamping dies and progressive tools specifically designed for thin-gauge non-ferrous foils (such as brass, copper, and phosphor bronze from 0.1 mm to 0.5 mm thickness). These tools feature sub-micron clearances and are finished on Japanese wire-cut EDMs.
For switchgear and terminal connector lines running at high speeds (up to 300 strokes/min), we design tooling with carbide inserts and high-speed steel punches (M2/M42). Under proper maintenance and coil lubrication, these tools yield 15 to 20 lakh strokes before requiring refurbishment.
We hold punch-to-die tolerances to less than ±0.003 mm during finishing. By maintaining this tight clearance configuration across our Sodick and Mitsubishi wire cuts, we ensure clean shear profiles that prevent electrical short circuits or functional assembly rejects.
Our H-Block Pimpri toolroom is located 30 km (about a 50-minute drive) from Pirangut MIDC via Hinjewadi. We coordinate tool dispatch via dedicated shipping lines and assign service engineers for on-press tryout reviews to ensure seamless startup.
